Album Info:After legal battles, service disruptions and a ruling by the PA Supreme Court against the Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad the PA State Assembly passed a bill that Governor Wolf signed into law which contained a ban on imposing an amusement tax on a railroad passenger operation if the railroad moves 20,000 carloads or more of freight a year. This ended the attempt by the Borough of Jim Thorpe (PA) to tax the RBMN subsidary Lehigh Gorge Scenic's Lehigh Gorge passenger service. This was celebrated by running RBMN 4-6-2 #425 from Friday August 14th to Sunday August 16th. Eight coaches, two open air cars and 1 caboose made 11 trips total, Better yet, Pauly got his first train ride EVER in open air car #9 on the Saturday 1PM trip!
